Thesis ADA broke its 20-day high (about 0.2684) yesterday on 2.3x volume and is holding above it. That makes three green days, and the coin is up 9% on BTC this week. Today's 09:00 push to 0.2825 on 4M volume was sold straight back in the next bar. Since then the 15m chart has made lower highs (0.2799, 0.2790) and dipped to 0.2722 at 14:15, with heavy sell volume at 13:00 and 14:00. Buying here at 0.2753 offers about 1.4:1 to 0.2800, which is too little, so the only trade is a bid near the afternoon low with a tight stop under it. Crowd read Holders who bought the 0.2825 spike are now trapped and will sell anything near 0.278 to 0.280 to get out at break-even. Daily RSI is 71, price is 12% above the 20-day EMA and Fear & Greed sits at 73 (Greed). That usually means a few hours of choppy shakeout rather than a clean push higher. The 14:15 to 14:30 dip was bought back fast, so dip buyers are present, but they have not yet shown they can push through the morning's sellers. Watch for Look for a dip into 0.2730 to 0.2738 that leaves a long lower wick and closes back above 0.2745 on the 15m. Then the next push needs to clear 0.2790 on volume above 1M per bar. A 15m close above 0.2800 with volume would put 0.2825 in play. Volume spiking on red bars under 0.2722 would cancel the idea. Wrong if A 1h close under 0.2722 would break the afternoon low the bid depends on and point to a deeper pullback towards the 0.2684 breakout level. A fourth lower high below 0.2790 on fading volume would also mean the bounce lacks the strength to reach 0.2800. Exit rules · close below 0.2722 (1h): Lost the afternoon swing low: the pullback is going deeper, towards the 0.2684 breakout level · btc drop pct 2.5: BTC has been turned back at about $87K again; a drop from here pulls the large-cap alts down with it · no progress hours 6.0: If the bounce off the bid has not come within 6 hours, the push is not coming inside the horizon Managed exit (half at 1R, trail 1R) managed breakeven, +0.50R (half taken at 1R)
Screener fresh breakout scored 78 · breakout yesterday on 1.8x volume · retesting breakout level (+2.6% from it) · +9% vs BTC on the week Project No unlocks, hacks or delistings came up. Recent positive headlines include a reported Mastercard partnership in mid-September and a Petrobras-related deal mentioned in early October, which add news momentum but are not a fresh catalyst for today. ADA is not on CoinGecko's trending list, so retail attention has not peaked. The Layer 1 theme is waking (60% of members up, the group's median week is +2.4% against 0% for the market), and ADA is moving with the group rather than leading it. Risks · Holders who bought the 0.2825 spike are waiting to sell at 0.278 to 0.280, so target1 sits right in that supply. · BTC is 1% under its 20-day high and has been rejected near $87K before, so ADA's breakout depends on BTC breaking that level. · There are only $439k of bids within 2% against $867k of asks: twice as much selling interest as buying close to price. · The stop is only 0.84% away, close to normal 15m noise on ADA. A sweep of 0.2722 into the 0.2700 area could stop the trade out before any bounce.
