Thesis BAT has climbed in steps over 30 days, from 0.067 to 0.106, and keeps making higher lows. It has outperformed BTC by about 40% over the month while the wider market went nowhere. On Oct 4 it broke out on 8M volume, roughly 4x normal, and topped at 0.1098 with almost no upper wick on the daily close. Since then it has sat in a tight 4h flag between 0.1016 and 0.1060, holding the gain, and is now pushing the top of that flag. That is a bull flag just under the 90-day high, but price is 17% above the EMA20 with a daily RSI of 73, so I only want in if it takes out 0.1098 and holds, not before. Crowd read The crowd has not caught on yet. BAT is not on CoinGecko's trending list despite a 46% month, and over the last 10 days there are three accumulation days to one distribution day. The breakout highs at 0.1062 and 0.1098 are the only fresh trapped supply. A clean push through them usually brings in chasers, but with Greed at 70 a failed first test tends to drop back into the 0.100 area. Watch for A 4h close above 0.1100 on above-average 4h volume, i.e. more than 1M base units per 4h candle, clearly above the recent 0.08–0.86M bars. Ideally the next 4h candle stays above 0.1062. If it trades through 0.1100 only on a wick and closes back inside the flag, stand aside. Wrong if Two 4h closes back below 0.1016 (the floor of the flag), or another rejection at 0.106–0.110 with a long upper wick on heavy volume, which would make the Oct 2 and Oct 4 wicks a triple top. Either kills the idea before the stop. Exit rules none set Managed exit (half at 1R, trail 1R) not filled yet
Screener volume wake scored 61 (reasons were not kept on this call) Project I found no unlocks, listings, delistings, hacks or legal trouble in the last two weeks. Supply is 99.7% circulating, so there is no dilution overhang. Coinbase's own page says BAT is leading broad-market performance on daily, weekly and monthly timeframes, which matches the relative strength in the data. The move looks rotation-driven, with no single catalyst behind it. Risks · The level has already been tested twice (0.1062 on Oct 2, 0.1098 on Oct 4). A third test can break, but a rejection here is a double-top story with a 0.093 swing low underneath. · The daily chart is stretched: 17% above the EMA20, RSI 73, Bollinger width in the 94th percentile. A shakeout toward 0.100 before any continuation is quite possible. · The Kraken BAT/USD book is thin (about $0.5M quote volume in 24h), so a breakout can wick through the trigger and fill badly. Most of the real volume is on other venues. · BTC closed red today and total market cap is down 2%. If BTC loses its 20-day trend while Greed is elevated, alts like BAT will give back gains faster than BTC. · The round 0.100 level sits just below the stop and is an obvious stop cluster. A sweep of 0.100 would take the stop even if the trend survives.
