Thesis Vaulta (A) closed today above its 20-day high of 0.1063 (set Sep 27) after a 4-day climb from 0.093, and volume picked up on the 15m from 12:00. Price is still sitting at 0.1068, right under today's 0.1071 high. The problem is the Kraken book. The spread is 0.85% and a £500 round trip costs about 0.85%, which already eats more than a quarter of a 2.3% stop. A market entry here doesn't make sense. The only version worth taking is a limit fill on a retest of 0.106, with the stop under the 09:30 swing low at 0.1031, aiming for 0.1125 on the way to the late-August wick highs around 0.115–0.117. Crowd read Buyers who got trapped at 0.1063 near the Sep 27 high are being tested for the first time. Most of today's 15m candles had little or no volume until midday, so a few buyers are pushing this, not a crowd. Fear & Greed is at 73 (Greed) and only 29% of the top 200 are up on the day, so this breakout is happening without the market behind it. First tests in that setting usually stall and pull back to the level. Watch for A pullback into 0.1060–0.1063 that holds on 15m closes, with a lower wick being bought there, then a 15m close above 0.1071 on volume above the 12:45 bar's 157k. If it runs straight above 0.108 without retesting, don't chase it through this spread. Wrong if An hourly close back under 0.1049 (today's 12:30 swing low) would mean the breakout above 0.1063 has failed and the 0.1063 sellers still control the level. Also wrong if it fills at 0.106 and stays stuck under 0.1071 for most of the session. Exit rules · close below 0.1049 (1h): Back under the 12:30 swing low and the 0.1063 breakout level, so the breakout failed · no progress hours 8.0: If it isn't above entry 8 hours after the fill, the push is over · btc drop pct 3.0: Total crypto market cap is already down 2.5% on the day; a BTC drop would pull this thin book down with it Managed exit (half at 1R, trail 1R) active, -0.61R so far
Screener fresh breakout scored 86 · strong close, little upper wick · breakout today on 2.0x volume · +7% vs BTC on the week Project Vaulta is the rebranded EOS (token swap in May 2025). It is in CoinGecko's World Liberty Financial Portfolio category. Circulating supply is about 80% of the 2.1B max. I found no unlock, listing, delisting, hack or lawsuit news from the last two weeks. One search turned up only price-prediction pages. Not trending on CoinGecko. Risks · Thin Kraken book: 0.85% spread, £2,000 round trip about 1.7%, and only around $7.5k of asks within 2%. One seller can knock price through the stop · Kraken's 24h quote volume is only about $194k, so this venue's chart may just be following other exchanges rather than showing real demand here · Price is 12% above the 20-day EMA after 4 green days, so a shakeout to 0.100–0.102 before any continuation is quite possible · Weak market: total market cap down 2.5% in 24h, median coin flat on the week, Layer 1 theme not waking · The intraday base rate for reaching +5% after a breakout is only 28%, and the median 24h return after a breakout is negative Sources https://www.bitget.com/news/detail/12560605334787 Features at call time pct_1d: 4.71 pct_7d: 10.33 vol_ratio_eff: 2.01 rsi_1d: 67.24 bbw_pct_rank: 41.58 dist_to_high_20d_pct: -0.47 consec_green_1d: 4 overhead_supply_share: 0.00 upper_wick_ratio_1d: 0.04 lower_wick_ratio_1d: 0.34 rs_vs_btc_7d: 7.09 from_ath_pct: -86.16
