Thesis AKT spent a week basing at 0.63–0.69. On Oct 4 it broke through the Sept 23 high (0.788) on 2.78M volume, about 3x normal. Oct 5 wicked to 0.8466 and got rejected. The pullback that followed came on falling 4h volume (170k, 155k, 50k), and the 0.741–0.743 lows held twice. That looks like profit-taking, not distribution. I don't want to pay 0.79, 18% above EMA20 with daily RSI at 72. I want a bid at 0.765, the top of the zone that held, with the stop under the twin lows. Risk is about 4% and target1, just under the 0.8466 wick high, gives about 2.2:1. Crowd read Early buyers took profit into the 0.85 wick, and the people who bought that wick are now waiting to sell at break-even, so the first retest of 0.84–0.85 will meet supply. AKT is up 20% on BTC this week but it is not on CoinGecko trending, so retail hasn't piled in yet. With Fear & Greed at 73, a dip into 0.76 is more likely than a clean straight break, and that dip is the entry. Watch for For the fill, a 4h candle that dips into 0.75–0.77 and closes back above 0.765 with a lower wick. The upgrade signal is a 4h close above 0.85 on volume above 600k, which turns the wick sellers into chasers and opens 0.95. Wrong if A 4h close back below 0.745 means the Oct 5 lows are breaking and the market is taking back the move from 0.788. A heavy-volume red 4h candle through 0.76 with no lower wick would also mean the dip isn't being bought. If price runs to 0.85 without filling the bid, skip it rather than chase. Exit rules · close below 0.745 (4h): Lost the Oct 5 twin lows: the retest failed and the breakout is unwinding · btc drop pct 4.0: BTC is dropping and total crypto market cap is already -2.4%, so alt breakouts won't hold · no progress hours 72.0: Three days after the fill and still under entry: the momentum from the volume spike is gone Managed exit (half at 1R, trail 1R) active, -0.07R so far
Screener volume wake scored 61 (reasons were not kept on this call) Project Nothing material in the last two weeks: no unlocks, listings, delistings or exploits found. Circulating supply is about 100% of total supply, so there is no near-term unlock overhang. Coinbase flagged AKT as a top daily gainer over the weekend, which is a sign retail attention is starting to build. Risks · 0.8466 has been tested once and rejected with a long upper wick (0.46 wick ratio). Target1 sits just below it on purpose, but price may stall at 0.82. · Daily RSI is 72 and price is 18% above EMA20. A deeper reset to EMA20 (around 0.67) would blow through the stop. · Total crypto market cap is down 2.4% today while BTC sits near its 20-day high. If BTC rotates lower, AKT's relative strength won't save it. · Kraken AKT/USD is thin (~$1.7M daily quote volume). A 0.765 bid can fill on a wick and the stop can slip.
