Thesis AKT spent late September in a 0.63–0.73 range, then broke out on 4 Oct on about 4x normal volume. On 5 Oct it spiked to 0.8466, but the daily candle has a 64% upper wick and price is back at 0.758. It has not closed above the 23 Sep high of 0.7884 even once, let alone twice, so this breakout has not been confirmed. Price is 15% above the 20-day EMA and the last six 4h candles are lower on fading volume, so buying here means buying the middle of a stretched move. The trade I want is a pullback to the old range top at 0.72–0.73 (26 Sep high, 4 Oct breakout 4h low), with lower wicks showing buyers stepping in. From there, 0.84 just under the swing high gives about 2.4:1. Crowd read Two big-volume days took the coin into old trapped supply near 0.79–0.85. The long upper wick shows those holders, and early breakout buyers, selling into the chasers. Greed at 70 and a weekly gain of 13% over BTC mean late buyers are in. That usually ends in a shakeout back toward the breakout level before anyone gets paid. Watch for Bid at 0.73. Act only if the 4h candles that tag 0.72–0.74 leave lower wicks and close back above 0.73 on lighter sell volume than the 4–5 Oct candles. Separate trigger: a daily close above 0.8466 on volume of 2m+ would be a fresh breakout to reassess, with entry around 0.85 and a stop under 0.76. Wrong if A daily close back under 0.70 means the market rejected the breakout and price is falling back into the range. Also invalid: a drop to 0.73 on rising sell volume with no lower-wick response on the 4h. In either case, don't take the bid. Exit rules none set Managed exit (half at 1R, trail 1R) not filled yet
Screener volume wake scored 62 (reasons were not kept on this call) Project Nothing material found from the last two weeks: no news on hacks, delistings, lawsuits or listings. The 4–5 Oct move has no clear news behind it and looks driven by the AI/DePIN theme and order flow. Supply is not fully issued: about 298m circulating against a 388m max, with ongoing staking inflation and no single cliff unlock. Price is 90% below the 2021 all-time high. Risks · Price may never come back to 0.73 and could instead go straight through 0.8466 on a second high-volume push. In that case the retest entry misses and you'd need a fresh stop trigger above 0.85 · Trapped buyers from 0.80–0.85 over the last two days will sell any bounce into 0.80–0.84, which caps target1 · Volume of about $1.8m a day on Kraken USD is thin for a coin worth roughly $223m, so the 0.73 bid could fill on a wick that runs through to the stop · AI/DePIN coins tend to move as a group. If that theme cools while BTC is near a 20-day high, the pullback could go past 0.73 to the 0.65 range midpoint Sources https://www.coinbase.com/price/akash-network Features at call time pct_1d: -2.47 pct_7d: 15.71 vol_ratio_eff: 4.07 rsi_1d: 68.08 bbw_pct_rank: 89.11 dist_to_high_20d_pct: 5.90 consec_green_1d: 0 overhead_supply_share: 0.04 upper_wick_ratio_1d: 0.64 lower_wick_ratio_1d: 0.16 rs_vs_btc_7d: 13.16 from_ath_pct: -90.19
