Thesis
ORCA has climbed from 1.56 to 2.12 in six days without a red day. It is now closing only just above its prior 20-day high of 2.118, under a rejection wick from this morning at 2.20. Daily RSI is 77 and price sits 26% above the 20-day EMA, so this is the late, stretched part of the move, not the first candle out of a coil. The relative strength is real (+22% vs BTC on the week, +58% on the month, while breadth is flat), so I want it on a pullback to the 2.00–2.03 breakout shelf, with the stop under today's 1.955 swing low. I would not chase it here.
Crowd read
Six green dailies and 3–4x volume mean chasers are now buying from people who got in at 1.60–1.80, and the 2.20 wick shows sellers waiting above. That usually ends in a quick shakeout back toward the round 2.00 before any continuation. If buyers absorb that dip, it becomes the real entry.
Watch for
A dip into 2.00–2.03 on falling 4h volume, with a long lower wick and a 4h close back above 2.03. That is the fill. If instead it closes two dailies above 2.118 and breaks 2.20 on volume without dipping, skip it and don't chase. A 4h close below 1.955 cancels the idea.
Wrong if
A 4h close back below 2.00 that fails to recover within the next candle. A daily close below 1.955 means the breakout has failed and price is heading back into the 1.80–1.85 shelf. A daily close below 2.118 with a long upper wick would also mark today as a failed first test.

Project
I found nothing material in the last two weeks: no unlock, listing, delisting or hack. Background from earlier reports: Bitvavo staking (August 2026), Orca promoting its Wavebreak launchpad, and a July 2026 ARK Invest note saying established Solana AMMs like Orca and Raydium have lost competitiveness. About 81% of the 100m max supply is circulating (FDV about $149m vs market cap about $121m), so there is no obvious near-term dilution pressure. The move looks flow-driven, not driven by a catalyst.
Risks
· Six consecutive green days with RSI 77: a shakeout could drive straight through 2.00 to the 1.85 shelf and skip the shelf bid
· 2.20 has already rejected once intraday; a second test is usually weaker, so target1 sits just under it
· Kraken ORCA/USD volume is only about $350k a day against roughly £62m traded globally. Kraken's book is thin, so wicks can run stops and fills may slip
· Market cap is down 1.7% today with BTC red. If BTC loses its 20-day EMA, high-beta Solana DeFi names usually give back the most
· Fear & Greed is still in Greed at 70, which is not the fearful setup where breakouts run hardest
· The fundamental story is weak: ARK flagged Orca as losing share to newer Solana AMMs, so the rally may be rotation flow rather than news
